cardon Copy

cat

Ok…perhaps this isn’t the best way to truly find your lost cat, but these redesigned flyers are a really fun idea. Cardon Webb a is Queens-based graphic designer and Cardon Copy is the name of his brilliant display of guerilla typography which was shown at the Type Directors Club this past spring.

In his own words:

Cardon Copy takes the vernacular of self-distributed flyers and tear-offs we have all seen in our neighborhoods. It involves hijacking these unconsidered flyers and redesigning them, overpowering their message with a new visual language. I then replace the original with the  redesign in its authentic environment.
