Opening tonight! A new exhibition of prints, patterns, products, installations and sculptures based on House Industries’ 16-year love affair with letters. Cool. There will also be a pop-up shop there where you can buy a range of House stuff including limited edition serigraphs (example above) available only at this show.

House Industries “Type as Object” will open October 20 – accompanied by a reception and lecture by principals Andy Cruz and Rich Roat – and will run through November 20, 2009. The Type Directors Club is located at 347 West 36 Street, Suite 603, in New York City.

of Boxing,” a series of over 350 gorgeous portraits, ranging from trainers and cutmen to such superstars as Evander Holyfield, Bernard Hopkins, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Oscar De La Hoya. At the Prince George Gallery until the end of the month. The gallery is located at 15 East 27th Street between Fifth and Madison. Hours are Tuesday through Staurday, 12PM-5PM.
